This Salt Light Life

A little about me:

If you know me, you already know how much I love to capture memories. Traveling is a passion of mine and so is learning. So if I’m visiting a new place, you can be certain I’ve researched, learned the history, discovered where the locals go, began to learn the language(s), and planned meticulously (I love a detailed itinerary with room for spontaneity).

I love art. (I went to SCAD.) I’m slowly getting back into sketching and painting. I would love to dedicate more time to it.

As I mentioned, I love learning; so naturally I like teaching. I am a homeschool parent. I was homeschooled for a few years of my young academic career. Fun fact: I was “home schooled” with the adorable actress on Ginny and Georgia in a small house (in Georgia) with just 9 other students — three were my siblings. That’s a story time for later.

My faith and love of Jesus is the most essential part of my daily life. I am blessed to have an amazing family who are all people I would totally choose as family even though I didn’t have a choice! I know that everyone has different experiences when it comes to the families we’re born into, but some of us take the positive circumstances for granted.

Each day is another opportunity to spread love, show up for others (and ourselves), and grow and improve (inside -out)!
